T and S Foundation's Literacy, Nutrition, Health Initiative
T and S Foundation - Back to School 2025
With boundless gratitude, I extend heartfelt thanks to each and every one who generously contributed to the T and S Foundation's 9th Annual Back to School Family Fun Day and 11th year Anniversary of Outreach, transforming it into a resounding success. At this event, over 1,000 community members joined us, embracing the spirit of unity and support. We proudly distributed more than 375 Knapsacks filled with essential school supplies, empowering young minds to thrive. 22 lucky children received gift cards valued at $25, $50, $100, and $200, totaling $1,025 in Walmart , Visa or Mastercard Gift Cards to purchase shoes for school. Five exceptional youngsters won 32-inch TVs, while 1 outstanding child received a Loaded Five Star Credit Union Backpack. Additionally, we provided 80 bags of clothing and served 525 plates of hot, nourishing meals. This remarkable event was made possible by the kindness of our esteemed sponsors and donors, whose generosity has inspired countless lives. Special appreciation goes to the Jackie Robinson Boys & Girls Club of Cairo/Grady County for opening the Club to us so we could offer complimentary boys haircuts and girls hairstyling’s. We're deeply thankful to Cairo IGA, Yvette Littlejohn, Brantley’s, Pepperidge Farm, and Nicholas Dawes for their contributions. July the Kids Against Hunger Cairo, Ga Inc., T and as Foundation Inc., and Grady County Family Connection cane together to offer our Youth Lunch Nutrition and Literacy Initiative. Where we triumphantly served Lunch Bags full of nutritious food and snacks, fueled by the limitless generosity of our exceptional Donors and Volunteers who devotedly spearheaded preparation and distribution, embodying the very essence of community compassion that defines our Initiative. We proudly handed out 2,443 Lunch Bags and 500 educational books to our Community Youth, spreading hope and sustenance. Our heartfelt gratitude extends to every contributor, whose benevolence empowers us to persist in this vital outreach, making a profound difference. It's an honor to be a conduit of blessing and hope while being the Hands and Feet of Jesus.
